Tennessee Football Smokey Stout Dog Beer

Rocky Top, and pour one for your best friend. Smokey Stout comes as broth powder in the bottle now. Add water, cap it, shake, and it is ready well before kickoff. Warm it through if you like. Either way there is nothing to chill and nothing to open early.

A savoury bone broth beer, brewed with Tennessee spirit. Just add water and shake.

  • The bottle is a keepsake: wash it and refill it all season, then again next season.
  • Slow simmered beef bone broth: real bones, cooked down for deep flavour.
  • Glucosamine and chondroitin: 125 mg and 10 mg a bottle, drawn from the bones.
  • About 16 calories a bottle, so it goes alongside a meal without undoing it.
  • One stick makes 8 fl oz: the same pour as before, in a pack that stores dry.

Made without wheat, soy, gluten or dairy.

Description

The idea. The dog is usually the only one at the tailgate without a drink. Bone broth sorts that out with something actually made for dogs: deeply meaty, warm if you want it, and interesting enough that most dogs come running at the smell of it. The bottle is what makes it look the part on a checkerboard blanket.

Ways to serve it. Straight in a bowl is the obvious one. It also goes over dry food for a dog that has been picking at dinner, softens kibble for an older mouth, and freezes well. Pour it into an ice cube tray or across a lick mat and you have something that lasts an hour on a warm afternoon.

Being honest about it. This is a topper and a treat, not a meal and not a stand-in for water. Keep the water bowl full as usual. Suitable for adult dogs of any size.

It's great to be able to support a local company here in Huntsville, and the dogs go mad for everything.

I've been using the sun-cured kelp on my dog's food and I can already see a difference in her coat.
