Colt's Woof is an independent, sole-owner pet wellness kitchen based in Huntsville, Alabama. We don't answer to corporate shareholders — we answer to you, your dogs, and the science of canine longevity. Every product we formulate is proactive and preventative, made from natural ingredients and free from harsh additives and harmful chemicals, designed to help our pets live more vibrant, healthy, and active years.
I'm Shelley, a dog-obsessed girl from South Africa — and Colt's Woof is named after Colt, the goodest boy who ever lived and my partner-in-adventure long before he was a brand mascot.
Together, Colt and I pet-sat our way across the world — through England, Scotland, France, Peru, and all over the United States, looking after other people's dogs in some genuinely beautiful corners of the planet. Then we rolled into Huntsville, Alabama, and something just clicked. The community welcomed us with a warmth I'd never felt anywhere else, and we decided to stop wandering and start building.
Colt's Woof didn't start with a business plan — it started with a search for real answers.
When looking for genuine wellness tools to support the health of my own dogs, Colt and Elmo, I kept running into the same frustrating walls. The market was flooded with outdated assumptions, vague ingredient lists, and cheap mystery ingredients masquerading as health products.
I knew our dogs deserved better. With a commitment to clean, high-potency, and biologically appropriate botanicals, I began formulating what would become our core line of natural supplements and treats. What started as kitchen-crafted care for my own pack has grown into Colt's Woof — and it's our big dream to one day build a dedicated wellness facility to match the ambition we already bring to every batch. Today, we hand-choose powerful, therapeutic ingredients — like raw South African Aloe Ferox, wild-caught Alaskan Salmon Oil, and organic Green-Lipped Mussel — to target longevity from the inside out.
