Origin & Storage
Description
The idea. Everybody at the tailgate gets a drink except the dog. Bone broth is the one you can pour for them that was made for dogs from the start: deeply meaty, warm if you like, and interesting enough that most dogs come running at the smell of it. The bottle is what makes it look like they are in on it.
Ways to serve it. Straight in a bowl is the obvious one. It also goes over dry food for a dog that has been picking at dinner, softens kibble for an older mouth, and freezes well. Pour it into an ice cube tray or across a lick mat and you have something that lasts an hour on a warm afternoon.
Being honest about it. This is a topper and a treat, not a meal and not a stand-in for water. Keep the water bowl full as usual. Suitable for adult dogs of any size.
