Brownie Pupcake

A tray of soft carob cake under peanut butter frosting, finished with cookies and peanut butter cups. Thirteen inches by nine, so there is plenty to go round, and you can put your own message on top of it.

A dog-safe answer to a chocolate brownie, baked to order.

  • No cocoa and no theobromine, which is what makes real chocolate unsafe for dogs.
  • No xylitol or birch sugar in any of it.
  • Pink and brown, blue and brown, or a colour of your own choosing.
  • Freezes for up to 6 months, so a tray this size does not have to be eaten at once.
  • Cut to suit: squares sized for a Dachshund or for a Dane.

Always supervise your dog with any chew. Remove small end pieces. Introduce new proteins gradually if your dog has a history of food sensitivity, and stop feeding if you see loose stool or itching within 48 hours.

How to order

Pick your size and colours, then your collection or delivery date at checkout. We need 4 days notice, and the calendar will only offer you weekdays. The order form is where your dog's name, their birthday, any dietary notes and anything else you want us to know go in.

Free local delivery to Huntsville, Madison, Nashville and Chattanooga, or free pickup from any of our market stalls. We do not post cakes. Fresh frosting and a courier do not get along, and we would rather you had it in good condition than at all costs.

About our colours: please read before choosing a custom colour

We use natural food colouring only. No dyes, no lakes, no artificial pigment of any kind. Colour comes from beetroot, turmeric, spirulina, butterfly pea flower, red cabbage and blueberry powder. Shades therefore vary from batch to batch and we cannot guarantee an exact match to a swatch, a party palette or a photo.

Our cake batter contains sweet potato, which leaves a permanent underlying orange tinge that we have to work with. On the Brownie Pupcake the carob masks a good deal of it in the cake itself, but the frosting still carries it: pinks go coral, blues go teal, whites go cream. This is simply what food-only colour looks like, and we would rather be straight with you now than have you disappointed on the day. If you need a specific shade, message us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can get close.

Freezing and thawing

Wrap it well and it will keep in the freezer for up to six months. Thaw it overnight in the fridge and let it come up to room temperature before you cut it.
